When new shoes come out the decision to toss down $ you earned working at a job you most likely don’t like, can be a hard one. Getting impartial advice is tricky so here is an average kid’s experience with a promising product with lots of hype surrounding it. Winter rains forced us to dry school hallways and limited the spots we could hit for this installment. But stoked on the shoe, Jerry was able to get some tricks down and have some fun on the dry days we had. The Westgate, Emerica’s newest shoe from their newest pro is a damn fine shoe in the Half-Cab genera of vulcanized fun. With padding in all the right places and a good insole the shoe offers something for the younger folks and the old dudes with bad knees. Although, if you have a high arch or just fat feet they may pinch a little.
