This pool was way sick! Despite having frigid late fall temperatures, having an empty pool to go skate in the city was definitely pretty awesome alternative. The spot got harder to skate with each session. The cracks in the deep and on the waterfall got worse and worse as the temperatures dropped and the water pressure from below increased- up until the point where we could only skate the shallow. The shallow end had a ratio of about 1:3 tranny to vert, so it made for a rough time and even when the 9 foot+ deep end was fully skateable, it needed to be mopped after every line. Speed was also an issue, along with the fact that this was a non skater-friendly outdoor east coast hotel swimming pool. Nevertheless, it was a treat while it lasted.
