Ben Stoddard

Ben Stoddard was born in the Yukon to a Inuit mother and a welsh father in 1969. He showed creative promise at a young age. While in high school he dabbled in taxidermy by practicing on the leftover livestock from his fathers butcher shop. Ben won a second place ribbon at the surrey taxidermy show with a amazing rooster, and a blue ribbon for a flawless veal tail with leg. After a few years sold his share of the business and traveled the world. He learned how to grow a beard and eat out of cans, (real weird shit.) was idolized by over 35 Nigerian kids he taught to pickpocket for him. With the profits he paid his own way to a really great film school. He began to make films about things that were sensitive to him about life and all things non exploitive in nature.

His first film was about a walnut that could have been eaten by three but was eventually eaten by two people, he was one of those people and to this day never forgets this event that led him to skateboarding and the love of the imagery of life and on April 21st will perform a proper pyre funeral for his blue ribbon winning veal tail with leg taxidermy entry from 1988, refreshments will be provided.
