During 2004-05, the second and third years of Color, existing departments flourished, new sections were created and special production features added something extra to each cover. Within the pages of the issues in Volume 2 you’ll read about Vancouver’s Antisocial shop and the debut of their legendary original team via the release of thier first video. You’ll also see the world debut of the Barrior Kult (BA.KU) as introduced by Sam McKinlay, and view the first Color interviews with Brad Sheppard, Geoff Dermer, and Devin Morrison. The art department also grew during this volume with features on Matt Irving, Yogi Proctor, Sandy Plotnikoff and Geoff Mcfetridge.
Volume 3 kicks starts with the ‘record sleeve’ cover and a special gift of a calendar featuring Torey Goodall. The second issue cover is a reverse gatefold with with an image from the sketchbook of James Jean, introducing you to the featured artist. Inside is an article written and shot by Ryan Hamilton a Show feature on an Ed and Deanna Templeton show in Vancouver and a massive feature on the Cliche teams from Canada and Europe. You’ll also find pages of images in the Gallery for you to paper your walls with, put together by the creative brain behind Faesthetic.
