The Big ‘O’ is moving! On a recent trip to with the Ace Trucks team, Gordon Nicholas learns about new plans to relocate the iconic skate spot and he photographs one of the last (possibly) great sessions in its current spot.
“Tensions surrounding the fate of the beloved ‘O’ have been lingering in the air since the news of the stadium expansions cast a nervousness onto local skateboarders. But local ripper Marc Tison seemed optimistic and reassured us that officials had “told us that they would spend 100K to make the move and that everything was going to be chill, and the dude is quite sincere.” A deal was worked out that the ‘O’ would be lifted and moved…”
