Market St. and a San Jose Art Show

Life / Art / Skate

The past week has been busy, started with a mid-week set up of an art show in San Jose's Anno Domin Gallery with Porous Walker and Dave Hopp. It's beginning to be a regular thing with these cats.

Members of N’TENCE will be sharing artwork they created while experiencing past hallucinations. Visitors will experience an overwhelming sense of deja vu as each of the artists have seen into the very near future psychically drawing from personal thoughts and wishes from the people who will be visiting the gallery during the length of the exhibition. N’TENCE includes: Kristin Farr, Able Brown, David Hopp, Isaac McKay-Randozzi, Don Pendleton and Porous Walker.

Porous and Dave.

The gallery is in an old theater, so it's long and high. A great space.

Porous.

Notice the date. Some of his new work was created in the future. He's on some time travel shit.

I knew it.

My contribution to the show.

You can see photos of the opening over at Jai Tanju's Tumblr.

Running around to take care of some impending photo projects led to a great sunny and warm Sunday in S.F. out on Market street with Ben Gore, Evan Kinori and Colin Read aka Mandible Claw.

Colin is out from NYC for a filming trip. You can see some of his edits over on SLAP. Cool guy and a great filmer.

You see all sorts of things in S.F.

Didn't shoot many digital photos, too much fun skating and shooting film.

The night before Shane from Hightower played in his other band and it was pretty epic. Jake, Hightower's lead guitarist also has another band, they were recently signed by Alternative Tentacles. They played but I was outside and couldn't push my way through to get in.

Flutist in a metal band, why not.

The folks at Juice Design sent their annual holiday deck, this one with graphics by Sean Cliver. Too damn good. Thanks guys!

These two fine lads helped out on a product shoot, thanks. Jerry has been out with a wreaked ankle, hence no new Skate Tested. Once he heals up we'll have a $lave board review and a couple others.
