Waking up in the Northern California coastal forest after a long night of driving with a group of strangers can put things in perspective. The previous day I was picked up by the bulk of the $lave team for a two week camping and skating trip through the northwestern U.S. with the goal of making it up to Vancouver. The full story will be in an upcoming issue.

In the morning I chased a kid into this hole, I thought he was a leprechaun and I'd get his gold. The little shit kicked me in the twig and berries.
