F1 Street Cut | Review

Skate

New wheels are a damn nice thing. Spitfire makes a new shape using their F1 urethane, the Street Cuts are a slimmed down version of their Street Burners. They were kind enough to send over a pair to try out.

Skate one, wear the others.

Life / Art / Skate

Had a little party for the release of a couple products via The Quiet Life and Stereo at the DLXSF shop. Big thanks to all of the sponsors and Matt D. at the shop. A bunch of people came out, drank, bought some boards and shirts and made with the fun and revelry of impending good weather.

Did the window display, kinda fun.

Space Cake

Life / Art / Music / Skate

Space Cake, the art work an stream of creativity from the minds of Thomas Campbell and Kyle Field. Yong-Ki Chang of Solitary Arts spent a large amount of time helping and observing the artists over multiple weeks. Over the course of four Thursday nights the back space of the Park Life shop played host to various events from a record release to the Mumler's "variety show". Mr. Chang was there to record just about all of it and he was kind enough to send over his photos. A lot of photos.

Lost Footage from One Way

Print / Film / Art / Skate

During the One Way trip, I filmed a few hours worth of skating, late night cuddles and other assorted antics we found ourselves in. During the chaos in the aftermath of the trip all of the footage I shot went missing into the great computer void. That is until Mr. Corey Adams discovered some footage on one of his hard drives. While not all of the footage I shot, it did contain the first quarter of the trip. Some parking lot footage of O'Brien and PNut on our drive down from S.F. to LA and a couple other little tidbits. A far cry from the hours of missing footage but enough to make a small edit of skating and bloody thumbs.
