WAVVES
Speaking of new music that rips, check out Nathan Williams (aka WAVVES). He's a skate-rat from LA who's deep in the Smell/No Age scene and his blown-out beach-punk jams will put a smile on your face a mile wide. He also runs a record label called Ghost Ramp and has a blog where he puts up lots of choice old-school hip-hop videos. He's got one sold-out cassette on Fuck It Tapes and and full-length CDs and LPs coming soon on Woodsist and De Stijl. As you can see, his cover art owns. This dude rules....
