KODAK DOES IT AGAIN

If discontinuing the film wasn't enough, Kodak has decided to stop producing trimmed/sheet colour photographic paper. San Francisco skater/photographer Andrew Paynter reacts with a new series of prints made from negatives shot over this past summer.

This one is an outtake from the Columbia River West of Portland Oregon.

You know those guys, or that friend with a digital SLR and they're always around to shoot the action and everyone thinks they should "put it all together and get a damn website, already!"? Well times that by about 100. 100 times more adventurous, 100 time the eye, and in about 100 different places before you too. Who else could get to hang out with pro skaters all day and travel the world, but Volcoms very own dutchman, Flo Gierman? A man not afraid to drink a case of heineken or chase a storm. One who's welcome to visit us up here in Canada anytime and I hope we'll see him here soon.

CROSSROADS 2011

things got weird at Ryan Smith's house.

The Crossroads retail show has turned into the number one place where skateboarding reigns supreme and you can expect to see everybody who's anybody. It's become my annual trip to So Cal and while my primary purpose may be "business", it's also a time when I get to catch up with old friends.
