HOW TO MAKE A TOURNEQUET

our boy joel dufresne and bieble at the Red Bull lounge [ o ] sharp

After watching Ryan Decenzo and Magnus Hanson fly off some containers on a barge in the middle of the Pacific ocean, then filling up on some cocktails at the Red Bull lounge, I headed to chinatown to check out the new club, Fortune.

I got a little ahead of myself thinking I could wallie in the state I was in. Guy Mariano can sympathize with me right now. (Click the image above for the how-to)

Thanks Matt. hi jen!

ALMOST LAUNCHES HOLIDAY09 CATALOG

Skate

I wouldn't usually link a catalog, but this new Almost catalog has some really nice looking boards. That aside, it was this jaw dropping five-0 by Cooper Wilt that calls for a post.

Do you think it's real? I guessl we'll find out when their new video drops.

This Saturday night in Vancouver, El Kartel is hosting a solo show with all new work by local working artist and Color Magazine contributor, Caleb Beyers. The show consists of 37 eclectic pieces of work ranging from neon lights, pencil drawings, plexi work, typography based work to paper sculpture (pictured above). If you're in the area - you won't want to miss this opening. It's not your typical Robson st. hype show.

COLOR FASHION ISSUE COVER LEAKED

Fashion

Jason Dill portrait by Mike Piscatalle

There's two covers for this very special, first ever fashion issue, and if you can't tell by the image above, this is the one without skateboarding. But you'll have to come out to the Block Party this Sunday in Vancouver to see who/what made it on.

Hitting newsstands September 25, look for it at your local 7-Eleven.

Art
Here's one for the metalheads / 25 and elders... Pushead Mountain Dew? I guess that's cool if it's with good company like Jeff Mcmillan, Stephen Bliss and UPSO. I mean, i'm all for my soda looking a little more arty.
Showing tonight in NYC at the Etnies showroom. More info on our events page.

BAND OF UNICORNS

Music

The long weekend started out with a bangin' concert with Cass McCombs (Jerry's part in Bag Of Suck), and Band of Horses (Mariano's part in Fully Flared). I left with a new found respect for Ben, Creighton, Trevor, and all the 'Horses. They totally rocked the place!

a Big thanks goes out to (above) Creighton Barret of Band Of Horses for the passes and the good shralps at Leeside. Down for life!
