You may or may not know this, but I was in this past Olympics in China. The sport was skateboarding and my event, technically was art. My teamates were among the best in the game with several of them making it to the podium.
Here's a few photos from hanging the Skate Hype show at the Adidas Brand Communication Center in Beijing's Sanlitun district this month. The show started in Shanghai in July and will continue to travel though out Asia over the next couple months, including Hong Kong, Japan, Korea and Taiwan.
my friend gripped a new board up and when side by side with his old one the stickers randomly just matched up! I tripped out so hard I'm going to send the first person to respond to this post a free sticker pack of their own. It's been an other great summer in Vancouver with the Underworld contest series and Toronto getting more rain than us for once. To wrap it up we're hosting the annual Summer Ends Skate Jam at the Plaza this Saturday.
This is the 3rd consecutive year of the Summer Ends Skate Jam. Also in 2006 was the the first Annual Live Block Party, so don't for get that will be going on the very next day (Sunday, 14th).
