Megasoid, Montreal's ambassador's of lazer bass party rockin' are going to be in Vancouver for a one-off, mixtape-promoting gig this Saturday, Oct. 18th at Open Studios. If you need to know, Megasoid is composed of Robert "Speakerbruiser" Squire (ex-Sixtoo/ Sebutones/ 1200hobos) and Hadji "Robert Downey DJ" Bakara (the electronics contingent of Wolf Parade), but this is no side project business. These guys are A-list remixers and insane party DJs, and if they ever get around to putting out an album, they're going to blow up like the world trade. For now, hit up their myspace to download free mixtapes.
