Hollywood Skater Riot of 2012

Yeah you heard me. At about 8 30 pm on Saturday over 500 skaters were lined up on Hollywood Blvd and Vine to see the skate film Bake on Destroy. A couple of police officers on patrol spotted the crowd and called for backup. The backup was then greeted with bottles and rocks at the hands of the crowd, I get the feeling that maybe the LAPDs appearance is what caused the uproar. The trouble makers dispersed fairly quickly and no one was hurt, but I'm sure some good stories are being told all around LA.
