First Project 45, now comes VANS Leeside 'Build-In'

Last week, we blogged about the VANS x Project 45 shoe launch & build party (click here for full story & photos). Here's the lowdown:
"This September Vans released two pairs of collabo shoes, the Era 46 Pro and the Chukka Low, with plans to donate the proceeds to Vancouver's Leeside Project and Montreal's Project 45... two of Canada's sickest skateparks. Now these are not like your local parks, they were both constructed completely with donated money and materials by some seriously dedicated local riders. Pretty inspiring shit, we should all take note of the DIY attitude and realize that, with a little hard work, anything is possible."
Vans donated a cheque for over $16,000 to Project 45, as well as a free pair of shoes to each volunteer!!!
LEESIDE BUILD
Tomorrow (Saturday), Vans is doing it all over again at Vancouver's signature DIY park, Leeside. Building starts at 9:00am and any capable human being is encouraged to go down and lend a hand! Word on the street is there are a few serious obstacles being built, so any help will be much appreciated - Vans is also going to be giving away free pairs of shoes to volunteers!!
If you have any tools that might be of use, it probably wouldn't be a bad idea to bring them down with you as well.

Vans is really doing something amazing for these parks and skateboarding in Canada - let's give them some love by 'liking' Vans on Facebook, or if you can't make it down to the build, buy a pair of Collab shoes at your local shop and the proceeds will be going to support both Project 45 and Leeside.
