In case you fools missed it, this past Saturday 53 skaters split into 5 teams to destroy Vancouver's plaza for 12 hours straight in a race to make the best edit imagineable. It was pretty rad.. and some unreal shit went down! (Can I just say... Spenny... WTF?). The turn out was wicked, some of the best Canadian skaters came out... and now, teams have until September 20th only to edit and submit their parts.
This Sunday, September 23rd, Chronic Tacos will be hosting the live premiere. No cost, just show up and enjoy the show. Over $5,000 in prizes is up for grabs, including a lifetime supply of trucks. First place takes an oversized novelty cheque and a budget to make a new, original video! We've also got a 4 passes to the Vancouver International Film Festivals screening of This Ain't California to give out.

Ace flying high, some last minute heroics & the secret weapon.
Happy Water came down for a bit to hydrate and Chronic Tacos showed up to feed all the teams.. one lucky guy found an Olio festival wristband in his burrito. We also ran a little mini competition for best instagram picture, two guys walked away with wristbands for their shots.

Chronic Tacos feeds the hungry skaters; @mfjeff scores an Olio wristband from Skatematic; Kevin stoked to find an Olio wristband hidden in his burrito.
Cameras kept rolling all the way down to the wire, and we all saw some serious dedication from the teams as well and some very solid skill. These guys all killed it, soo hyped to see the final edits and deal with all these prizes we've got. Big shout again to Olio Festival, Independent Trucks, Menu skate shop, Supra, KR3W, Chocolate Skateboards, and Spitfire for helping us make it happen! See ya Sunday!
Oh ya... and... all videos will be be put up on Sept 23rd on Skatematic.com for public voting, open for 1 month.

THIS... and many other things you'll have to see to believe! [ o ] @hau5ofnoodles
