Jason Dill, Vans Syndicate and 35 years of the Jazz Stripe
Skate
With the ultra-huge announcement that Jason Dill is back on the team as well as the 35th anniversary release of the classic Jazz Stripe 35 pack, it seems shit is really going off on the Vans Syndicate side of things these days.
Dill even got his own week dedicated to him over on the VANS site, with features on all his classic Alien Workshop ads, a double interview with AVE and a quirky little video from the Adventures with Chris series on OffTheWall.tv to name a few. I say it's about time. Dill is the man, always has been. His Color 7.4 cover was one of our favourites.
Celebrating 35 years of the "Jazz Stripe"

Starting this month also, the Jazz Stripe 35 pack will be available in select stores, to celebrate the 35th anniversary of that iconic "jazz stripe" that has graces the sides of your favourite Vans. What they've done is taken the Vans Old Skool and Sk8-Hi colorways and put them on the Pro Classics spec. You should see these things popping up soon, in places like East Van's BLVD shop.
Speaking of the exclusive retailer of Vans Syndicate, a few weeks back BLVD hosted a party to launch the Derby "S" model. I suppose we should show you the video that Benny Zenga put together from that night...
With all this PLUS the DIY collabo between Leeside and Project 45, VANS has enough going on to keep you stoked right through Fall.
