Partying Matters this Friday

This Friday (August 17) from 6:30-8:00pm we're hosting a little meeting of the minds at Village & Co (231 Union St., Vancouver) as part of MagScene On Main festival. We called our event "Partying Matters" because, well, getting drunk, skating mini-ramps and crushing dance floors really does count for something, believe it or not.
Benny Zenga (Color's Media Manager) and Dan Post (Managing Editor) are going to be showing some of our favourite videos/photos from the past year, including recaps from the Ramp Jam series, the Hour Hands photography exhibition and the feature film A Test of Mettle— the documentary result of setting a world record for most skateparks skated in a single day.
The guys will also be talking to the crowd about how it all goes down, touching on partnering with sponsors, creating a buzz and delivering on media and printed content, all while having an amazing time doing it. They will answer questions and talk to audiences about how they too can host great events. Oh ya, and you can cop a sweet subscription deal just for coming out!
