"Dragonslayer" Showing at the Waldorf
Fashion / Life / Film / Art / Music / Skate
On Thursday, May 24 at The Waldorf (1489 Hastings St E), Tristan Patterson's 2011 SXSW documentary winner Dragonslayer will be screening to Vancouver audiences for only the second time since it rolled through town as part of VIFF. If you weren't among the lucky few who saw the film this past winter, then this is your chance to check out an incredible piece of skateboarding cinema. Here's an excerpt from our article on Dragonslayer from Color 9.5:
"Dragonslayer will appeal to anyone who has ever Google mapped an aerial view of their neighbourhood looking for pools or anyone who has gotten completely hammered on forties under a bridge or smoked so much weed they puked all over the mini-ramp... Through the objective lens of documentary, Skreech and Tristan share their passions and successes but also the downfalls and challenges we all face." - Color 9.5
Doors open at 7 PM
Showing starts at 8 PM
