Joey Pepper and Thinksound
Music / Skate
Expedition-1 pro and Orchard shop team rider Joey Pepper recently became the first pro to sign on with thinksound. They were kind enough to send me a set to try out. After a week of using them at home, out skating and even a little lawn mowing I really liked how they worked.

Their minimal packaging and clean design is great. Nothing more than is needed to keep the ear buds protected using recycled cardboard internally and externally.

Simple explanation of the product without over hyping themselves. Nice to see a company with humility and lets the product do all the selling.

All that comes in the box.

Different size cushions help with a snug fit for different sized ear holes. They cut out almost all outside sound making the ear focus on the music, not the guy next to you clearing his nose on his sleeve.

That's all you toss into the recycling bin, minimal impact lots of feel good.

They don't use any PVC related plastic and from what I've read that's a good thing. The wood colored part of the ear bud is wood, some type of walnut I think.
After using them in a few different situations I found them to be better than another pair of buds that I bought for the same price as these, about $100. As mentioned, they reduce the outside sound and will work well as ear plugs the next time I fly. I skated with them on a couple time and they didn't fall out. Although, If you put the chord under your shirt the rubber grabs your skin a little once you work up a sweat. Other than that, they are great ear buds and worth every cent, great sound quality and sonic depth.
