Its time to tickle the ocular senses. 40 Artists. 40 Boards. 1 Fresh.

On April 8th artists from Emily Carr University are showing skatedecks & toys for the joy of art at Third shop. The show is part of Third's initiative for eco-consciousness within art & industry. Bids for the Decks begin at $100 around 8 pm. Posters, Swag, Toys & more will also be available. All artists will be in attendance as Dj's spin tracks to compliment the food, booze & general revelry. Final bids at 10:30. After party is TBA. Check out the Facebook event for more details.

Sounds like there was a huge turnout for the opening night of Marc McKee's Seen/Unknown exhibition. A history lesson in skate graphics, one I wish I could have made it down there for.  Those, like myself who were less fortunate to make it, HVW8 has photos up from opening night.

Last fall DC toured the Canadian East Coast and today they have released the video for you all to enjoy.  With an insane line-up, The Pop UP Tour features skating from Nick Dompierre, Matt Miller, Evan Smith, Marquise Henry, Sasha Daley, Paul Trep, Ryan Oughton, Josh Clark, Chad Dickson, Morgan Smith, Micky Papa, and Mitch Barette.

Militant barrier knifing found!  For those of you, myself included who have a hard time unlocking the secret DVD menus, there is a dark lord who has answered the prayers of many.  Emerica has put the BA.KU. part up on their site.  Enjoy!

Congratulations to Josh Bradley from Vancouver, BC who won the Real Video SF Trip contest. Bring your skate legs and party face as it is going to be a wild weekend in the Bay Area.

Those that have visited the late, 3131 Clement spot (which housed the Solitary Arts and Equal Dist.) know my love for vinyl records and more specifically, 7" Picture Sleeves.  Isaac McKay-Randozzi would come by to help build boards and rap about the day-to-day events while playing music on both the jukebox and various table-top players that I own.  One day, he asked to shoot a good handful of them and Stereo Skateboards had the smarts to release Isaac's second round of artist-series decks.  This time, 2 decks featuring my table-top portable players and 2 shirts (one with my Prestige II Jukebox).

With help from Stereo Skateboards, the Quiet Life, Lakai, STANCE, the Solitary Arts, and DLX San Francisco, Isaac will be having a release party for this collaboration on Saturday, March 26, 2011, from 7-9:30PM.

DLX SF is located at 1831 Market Street in San Francisco.

The Quiet Life will also be releasing 2 shirts in celebration of Isaac's photographic endeavors at his event on Saturday. Congratulations, Isaac and good work with making this all happen!

We'll have exclusively signed decks and shirts on the Equal Dist. site the day after Isaac's event at DLX on Sunday, March 27th.

Isaac's been doing some research on an upcoming music feature and he found this along the way... so stoked!! just did a quick search for some more info & took a screenshot of what I found... no fucken wayyyyy!!
