Well Red Bull's Manny Mania recently wrapped up and in case you haven't been following, the events host Felix Arguelles gives the run down on how these am's from around the globe won their way to NYC for the finals. In the end, Belgium cat Youness Amrani came through with the win and moved on to the pro finals that unfortunately got rained out. Not only did Youness show his skill but as you can see in his interview at the end, the kid seems to have his head on straight. Of course shout out to Jaime Suppes for killing out there for Canada! Huf Footwear skaters; Aaron Herrington, Billy Teichen, Casey Jones and Nathan Porter do a damn good job of reminding just how fun a day in the city can be while the sun is still out. Edited to one of the greatest bluesmen.

Zoo York is offering up a chance to roll VIP with Chaz Ortiz to the Take The Cake contest in October. I'm sure you've heard about the contest by now and I know you know Ortiz so check the details out HERE and you and a hommie could be posted up in Niagara Falls eating burgers and fries with this contender!

This Saturday August 28th, Circa along with Push.ca, Monster and Underworld are throwing the Skate Pentathlon on the 800 block of Granville street in Vancouver. The contest starts at 1pm with free registration at 11am at Underworld. Be there early as there is only room for 30 skaters and some cash to be won!

Another installation of Art & Sole, this time hitting Montreal tomorrow night between 8pm and 11pm at Off The Hook. Pf Flyers invites a slew of artists to alter a pair of the classic Bob Cousy model. Judging from the previous stops in both Vancouver and Calgary, it's a show you don't want to miss if you're in the area. Check it as Vancouver's Dan Climan and Calen Knauf talk about their collaborative effort.

Young Healers is a photography zine published by The Secondhand Projects, and is released 12 times a year. Each issue features promising photographers around the world - the latest issue showing the work of Daniel Pelissier. There will be a launch party for issue #6 at Off the Hook gallery in Montréal on August 31st.
