If you weren't there... What were you thinking!? Photos from the show... I wasn't there either :(

One of the smoothest skaters ever to grace a board is back more than ever this time. Telegraph Skateboards is his new company, the web site is under construction but it as a short but good introduction video that includes Mr. Lotti. He's assembled a small but sick team of relative unknowns to represent the company, Tjaden Brewer and former Sound Agent Zach Wagner. I saw one of the decks and it appears that they are silk screening their boards. Something that may be meaningless to the younger folks but for us old creeps, that hand made touch is always appreciated.
I just found out that Dave was in the critically ignored movie "Spymate", starring alongside his hero Pat Morita. He dropped in at Seylynn in front of a motorcycle, risking his life for a chimpanzee and his love of film. I can't find a copy of the movie anywhere, and we all really really really want to see Dave's part.
So, the first person to send me a copy of the movie gets a years subscription to Color.
That's how badly i need to see this movie.

If you aren't aren't a regular on Volcom's site you might have missed Micheal Sieben's Internet Shack. Pretty funny stuff. My favorite is the trick tips. Check it out here. If you have ADD skip to 1:13 to learn backside flips. BOLTS!

The fine folks over at The Quiet Life are having an end of season sale to make room for their next batch of t-shirts and ephemera of the quiet periods in our lives. Be sure to check out their Good Cause shirts that benefit the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation.

Last week Porous Walker and I paid a visit to Jeremy Fish at his North Beach studio in San Francisco. Porous brought with him a prototype for a new deck design and although there was a slight alignment issues with the board it did function. After some repair work due to an ill performed sweeper Mr. Fish took a turn on the wicken inspired beast.
Jeremy Fish gives the skate-broom a go. Porous' angle first, then mine with a great shot of his back.

Porous has an Iphone and uses it all the time. Apple should sponsor him.

Fish took us on a walk around North Beach. He has done a fair amount of trade-for-work with some of businesses near his abode. We went to a pizza joint and they hooked us up with a slice and coke - gratis. Nice one Dude.

Only in North Beach. Political/historical and revolutionary bathroom writings.
At this point my camera battery died because I forgot to recharge its life force the night before. We walked thought China Town, went to a 100 yer old Chinese temple, pretended I was getting married so we could get into a ballroom and check out the view and bought full face sun visors. Porous sung some Kenny Loggins tunes on an outdoor Karaoke machine and sounded like Darth Vador.
There's a new party happening every Friday night at Fortune (Vancouver) In the Livestock room. Genie's posted a new mix tape to get you Dub Steppin til' then.
