Went to a show last night that started with a really great set by The Albertans, a Vancouver based band. It sounded like they've been playing together a lot as everything was nice and crisp with no sloppiness where their wasn't meant to be. I ran into one of them by the bar and found out they just got back from recording an album in NY that will be coming out in the Spring.
