Who knew Canada played such a big role in the life of an infamous French gangster? Killer Instinct: Mesrine stars the lovely Vincent Cassel in the title role of Jaques Mesrine a man who was idolized by the public for his crime filled life. The movie is based on the autobiography written by the kidnapping, killing, bank robbing, prison escaping man and had to be broken up into two parts (2hrs each) to get all the details of his life covered. Go see the movie. you'll be blown away by the acting, directing and the story.

Kelly Jablonski from Concrete recently finished up an extremely impressive bicycle tour that raised 93,249 + dollars for Parkinson's research. He and his team rode 1,354 kms through Vancouver, Whistler, Lillooet, Kamloops, Salmon Arm, Kelowna, Osoyoos, Westbank, Merritt, and Hope, which totaled 47 hours and 55 min of time spent on their bikes. Congratulations to Kelly and his group for completing the ride while raising awareness and much needed funding.

We compiled all your votes for the Lifetime Contest and the results are in. The band that came out on top is ...Leisure Suit, a three-piece group from Victoria, BC. The talented winners are getting a new wardrobe from Lifetime Collective, and records from Collective/Vice artists Lullabye Arkestra and Pierced Arrows.
