MAN SAVES BEAR

I saw this in the news recently: a conservation officer recently gave CPR to a bear in Prince George, B.C. and saved it's life. However, the officer didn't have to go "all the way" (mouth to mouth), as the bear began breathing again after performing chest compressions. After being recescutated, the bear hopped along back into the forest. Insane. Check it out here:

Skate

Over my ceremonial morning coffee, I happened to find this: my good friend Appleyard introducing himself to the Berrics.

LOWER LONSDALE BLOCK PARTY

RDS Skate Supply, Verve Hair Lounge and Opus Art Supply are having some crazy bash on Saturday June 13th from 12 p.m. to 7 p.m., in order to celebrate the local culture and business that is LONSDALE.

It'll be on West 2nd Street just off Lonsdale in North Vancouver (outside RDS Skate Supply, 201 Lonsdale Avenue). The day's events will include: Skateboard competition with $1000 in cash prizes, BBQ, music by Oakalla and DJ Syd Cee, and local artists painting live.

I don't have a flyer to post, but I do have this (unfortunately, he's not gonna show up; he's in Vegas at the porno trade show):
