NEW MCGUIGAN/MCCOURT BLOG

I just got word of a new blog, the caretakers of which are infamous Ontario-ite slash couch surfer and thrill seeker, Mike McCourt, and Winnipeg's Ryan McGuigan, well-known for his many great films and videos, including his recent and well-received entry to the 2008 Shoot to Thrill event, as well as his always entertaining and out-of-this-world slant regarding all things. This is definitely a blog to check out for pure entertainment and any late nights that happen to be filled with "Hmmm, what the Hell am I going to check out on the Internet now?" Looking for something skate-related and out of the ordinary? Catch their exploits at:

Enjoy!

THIS IS ENGLISH? ...

I took this shot of a storefront's main sign sometime in 2005 in Tokyo, Japan. The shop is located at the Tokyo Dome, a stadium often skated heavily and frequented by indie bands that play live on the sidewalks around the public concourse. The sign is still the craziest piece of wordcraft in English I have ever seen. Enjoy!

MIKE CROOK

Skate

Got nothing to do and looking for something rad to watch or otherwise brighten your day? It's simple... just mosey over to Mike Crook's Youtube page. He might just have the record for consecutive switch FS bigspins. Mike's a good friend, fellow Toronto local, and is one sick skater with an even sicker style.
