i just heard that nathan matthews passed away, and that my friends is a fucking bummer. i only met him once briefly a few years back, but he was one of those dudes that you just feel good about meeting. he was a great photographer, designer and human being. i was always trying to get him more involved with the magazine, mostly because he seemed like the kind of person that you want to have around. brother, i never really knew you, but you will be missed. i hope all is good, wherever you are.

a memorial will take place Saturday, Feb. 20, 2010 at 1:00 pm, reception to follow, at Hamilton Harrron Funeral Home, 5390 Fraser Street, Vancouver, BC.
