Dave Ko is the graphic designer behind Color Magazine. He honed his natural skill at Emily Carr University, but we’re not sure if that’s also where he learned to be the nicest guy ever… Try not to like Dave, just try it.
Skateboard contest in Lynden, Washington (right across the border from B.C.) on Saturday, October 29th (sign-up starting at 10am). This is combined with a costume ball, and a Matt French (Color contributor) art show! Free food, pop, tons of prizes, a girls division, and other Halloween goodies!
Chris von Zombathy (guest typographer/illustrator for issue 7.5) is having a solo show 'Esophagus Now' at the Unit/Pitt Projects Gallery in Vancouver, BC (15 East Pender Street). Drop by and see his prints, sculptures, book, video and music at the opening night this Friday, June 10 (starts at 8:00pm). The show runs from Friday, June 10 (8:00pm) until July 9 (5:00pm).
