ArtI came across this new website called letterplayground.com on booooooom.com not too long ago. It's a website where you can see people's typographic creations and all sorts of different stuff about typography. You can even sign up, join the community and upload your own!

ArtFor all you design nerds - If you are not familiar with www.designboom.com, you may want to check it out. They recently revamped their website for 2010. There is lots of interesting stuff on this website including design contests you may want to enter!
MEGANE ZINE RELEASE

Star Graphics is an art/design team based out of Japan and Los Angeles. Just recently, they announced the release of the second issue of their publication called Megane Zine. This magazine features up-and-coming Japanese/American artists and their achievements/inspirations along with other well-known artists such as Ed Templeton. They are having an art exhibit and magazine release on January 9th at the HVW8 Art + Design Gallery in Los Angeles (661 N. Spaulding Ave).
