THE HIDDEN FORTRESS

Film

If you haven't seen this movie by Akira Kurosawa before - it might make for an interesting choice. I found this version on VHS at the local library - but I am sure you can find it on DVD anywhere. I am definitely not the biggest fan of old black & white films - especially foreign ones, but if I were to recommend something to watch, this would be at the top of my list. (On several websites, they note that George Lucas acknowledges The Hidden Fortress as being a big influence and inspiration for Star Wars). WOW!
