MEANWHILE is the new short DVD from Yoan Taillandier, director of MINUIT and distributed by Magenta Skateboards. Shot entirely at night mostly between Paris and Bordeaux, it features sections of Bordeaux locals Masaki Ui, Seb Daurel and Leo Valls, as well as footage of local and visiting friends. Available on Theories of Atlantis soon.

Morgan's got pop and style for days that completely embodied our timeless theme in 9.6. Another thing I really like about this photo is the simplicity of the spot; it's just a bump in a parking lot, leading over nothing, which makes it more difficult to blast (with out a target)... for most. Spent another sunny Sunday in downtown SF with Ben Gore, Magenta's Leo Valls and friends Evan Kinori and Brian Bothelo. We lucked out with the most skateable winter in recent memory.
Recently got a new camera and lens, so there are only a few digital shots to share. This plaque was next to one of the spots we skated. Apparently the basic mechanics etc. for television were invented on this spot in 1927 and developed over the subsequent years. Sept. 2nd of this year will mark the 90th anniversary of the invention. It took another 25+ years for it to make it into almost every American and Canadian home. The jury is still out if it has been a good thing for the world or not.
