Theotis Beasley is featured in this documentary type short that has no agenda other than showing you a small part of who he is. While made by a non-skater, the objectivity of the producer is so untainted that it could have been made by one of us. If that makes sense. Regardless, Theotis rules, can't wait to see his next part.

On Oct. 29, the first 12 people to show up in their gitch outside Sitka's new location in Victoria at 570 Yates St, will win a new outfit (pants, shirt, hoodie) to cover up their frozen parts. Oh, and anyone who comes already decked-out in full Sitka gear will have the opportunity to swap out one of their pieces for something fresh.
If you're happen to be unlucky #13, you'll just have to warm up in the brand new Sitka Cafe. This first-ever Sitka coffee hangout, has a menu designed with a focus on local organic foods. Also, check out the gallery displaying local artists' work, a unique magazine collection and a full front window for people watching.
Co-founders, Andrew Paine and Rene Gauthier, have tried to keep the family vibe going on this preoject by employing local carpenters, electricians and other skilled friends to work with the locally sourced materials. Also, the ramp from the old location has been upgraded and moved to the new spot for team members to come down and enjoy.
Sitka may have moved locations, but their roots stay strongly fixed in Victoria.
